Is there a Lauriver smut week planned at all do you know? If not, we should plan one.

I am not really following anything on the fandom right now. But maybe one of my followers can tell you.

"Let’s say you’ve been given the position of writing Green Arrow from scratch,” he posits, rhetorically. “Clean slate. You might say, ‘Okay, I’m going to write this new character,’ and when someone says, ‘Well, what about Black Canary,’ you might say… ‘nope.’ That means you completely misunderstand these characters.” For Johns, to love superheroes is to know what they love, whether it’s a romantic pairing, or a specific hope for their world."

SA just said people who doesn't like their characters are not real fans of the show. Lol

I just saw it, and you know what? He is totally right! I am not a fan of Arrow. I am a fan of what the show was in the first season, and to be honest I would say I am a fan of the first five or six episodes. And after that I can point on more things I didn’t like than things I did like.

When season 2 came, and their “Team Arrow” was just Felicity and Diggle, I already knew I didn’t like Arrow’s version of Green Arrow. When Roy barely had screentime, and they brought a Canary who wasn’t Dinah Drake or Dinah Lance, I already knew I didn’t like Arrow’s version of Green Arrow.

When Oliver, after a year telling Laurel he was sorry, dated Sara Lance again, I knew the first five episodes that I loved were done. When they made a terrible (TERRIBLE) season two finale, with Slade Wilson being a messy character, and Oliver telling Felicity he loved her (a WEEK before asking Sara to move in with him), I knew Arrow wasn’t worth watching.

But I stayed, because I loved Dinah Laurel Lance. And I wanted so bad to watch her as Black Canary. And even if I was disappointed as hell with everything they did, I was there to watch the real Black Canary.

Again, when Green (?) Arrow didn’t care about Black Canary being Black Canary, I knew I hated Arrow. When he decided to leave the city to be Felicity’s boyfriend, I knew I hated Arrow.

And when they killed Black Canary, I couldn’t cry (ok, I cried a little). I was happy. Because they didn’t deserve Black Canary. Laurel Lance being great was an accident. They didn’t mean her to be that good. They didn’t want people to like her.

So, I don’t care about Stephen Amell. The only people who likes his Green Arrow are Oliciters, and they only care about Felicity. Arrow is a joke. Arrow’s reddit forum is about Daredevil. People can only laugh. The show is terrible, their characters are terrible, and their romance ruined the show.

The best thing that ever happed to Katie Cassidy was leave Arrow. It’s a sinking boat. Nobody will ever respect their version.

Arrow is dead. They just didn’t tell Stephen Amell yet.

Lauriver

I am here just to remind you that Oliver Jonas Queen always knew Dinah Laurel Lance was better than him and never deserved a guy like him. Just to remind you that he loved her, but knew she deserved better. Just to remind you he doesn’t care that much about his ~~new love~~ and knows she isn’t as great as Laurel was. Just to remember he doesn’t care about being a piece of shit for her, but cared about Laurel.

Deal with the facts, people. Laurel was better than anyone else, and Oliver knew he had to be far better to be near her.

Just a fellow reminder that no episode after Katie Cassidy’s final episode surpassed in viewership or ratings.

Have you seen this? www(.)crazydaysandnights(.)net/2016/05/blind-items-revealed-3-457 What do you think? I really don't get why they keep saying bad things about KC. The last comment though.

Well, this is a lie. If Katie had all this power, do you really think she would be out of Arrow right now?

I've stopped watching Arrow mid-season 3 and after everything I've read/seen recently I'm glad I did. The whole reason why I gave this show a shot was because of Katie Cassidy and my god they screwed her character pretty bad! I'm all for not following the exact patterns of the comics but to acknowledge that Olicity is endgame instead of Lauriver? I just can't. I just came accross your blog and just wanted to rant about the sadness that is this show. But good for the Olicity fans...

I don’t think O/F fans have much to celebrate, anon. Arrow, right now, is a joke. And everyone knows this is O/F fault.

I know it’s difficult to see it in that light right now, but Arrow will never be a show to remember. They only had two nice seasons, and the show ended after season 2.

If Katie really left, and they don’t bring her back, this is the best thing that ever happened to her. Laurel wasn’t a fan favorite until season two, and everyone knows she is the best (and maybe only good) part of season 3 and 4.

We all know O/F fans won’t ever say this out loud, but everyone, including them, knows the couple never worked and destroyed the show.

Ten years from now, when people look back at Arrow, everyone will say “oh, this was a show to forget.”

Would it not be cool at the end of the season, last show, just before the show fades out - 3 people are fighting, 2 against one. Once the fight is done they take off their hoods one is Nyssa the other is Katana. They were fighting, Laurel, The BLACK CANARY and she just kick their ass - they all smile.

Yeah, it would. Anything to prove that my girl is still alive, and that her journey is not over, and she can still try to save the world.

But I wouldn’t like to see Laurel back on the show, because more than anything, her death proves that they never deserved her.
